We have not lived in an apartment since 1974, and when it was time to move into a 55-and-over community, it was a tough decision. I wanted to stay in Benbrook for lots of reasons. This property was pretty new, so we chose Album. We have two friends who live here, and they loved it. We moved in October, and it was pretty much what we expected. The residents are very nice and welcoming. The get-togethers are a lot of fun. We really enjoy the management of the Album; they are all very helpful, nice, and work hard to make this a very good place to live. They accomplish what they want very well. Plus, the maintenance folks here are just outstanding, very helpful, and hard working.

Album is a great place to live! There is always plenty of activities going on to choose from. Or you can be a couch potato it's your choice. No pressure! The staff is very good and always pleasant. Maintenance is quick to respond to any issues you may have. I have been here more than 2 years and have no complaints. Come join us!

Never did I believe that an "apartment " could feel like a "home", until I moved to Album Benbrook!! The "individuality" that the residents have expressed in each of their " homes" is amazing!

It's been almost 18mrhs. Time to reup my lease. Sounds cliche but this has been my favorite community. The visit to view my apt did not show how much I would come to enjoy and love my life here. I've never felt left out or isolated. I like to say I can be as social as I want, or solitary as I want. There is always something to do, ie watch sports active events calendar, games and much more. The staff is more engaged than the others I have experienced. My favorite points of the Album of Benbrook: 1. Cleanliness 2.Service request fulfilled quickly and accurately 3 outside doors lock automatically 4. NO BUGS!!

After nine months at The Album, I can honestly say this place has felt more like home than I ever expected. The community is kind, the staff truly cares, and there’s a peaceful rhythm to daily life here that’s hard to find elsewhere. I love how everything from the cozy shared spaces to the thoughtful events encourages connection without ever feeling forced. It’s the little things that make a big difference: friendly faces in the hall, sunsets from my balcony, and a sense of belonging that keeps growing. The apartment is too small. The bathrooms are great. It is easy for someone using a wheelchair or walker to get into them. We do have some noisy neighbors and a noisy dog in a yard downstairs sometimes.

Generally a pleasant place to live. Still have smoking residents in hallway closest to the gym. Recommend less watering near the dog park and 141. Ground becomes saturated and breeds flies. We enjoy using the gym.

We were downsizing and looked at Album several times before making a decision. Every time we visited the staff were so helpful and kind. Also, when we would meet a resident they would all mention how they loved living here. The move in experience was great too.

We moved into the Album Benbrook in October of 2023. Our neighbors, the staff and even the vendors have been amazing. This is such a friendly community. Security is top notch. We feel very safe at this location. We consider this our "forever home".

Whether it’s a friendly hello in the hallway, planning meaningful events, or offering a helping hand when you need it most, they make sure every resident feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Their hearts are in this work, and you can feel it. And the neighbors? Oh my heart. We’ve been blessed with the kindest, most genuine people, the kind who wave from their balconies, check in just because, and make every gathering feel like a family reunion. Marcaidez, Lexi, Vanessa, and Tanna, Jose and Patrick are the well qualified for their positions. The prior staff were not, and really put a negative spin on this community. We have no intention of ever moving. The people in this community have been active in recommending their friends to move here, which is a strong testament to the favorability of this community. We came from CA so our friends are not as available. Thank you!

I enjoy the exercise classes and use of the gym on a daily basis. I would like to see the pool closure hours change. The pool is now kept too warm for the summer. Not refreshing at all. There is a hole in the pool net used for skimming.

Love the community. Recommend changing hours that pool is closed for cleaning. Put out a survey regarding when residents use it. Love the exercise classes. Please add more cardio. Keep Jordan for yoga at all cost!

Great place to live. Wonderful staff. Very nice, neat, clean and great activities. And I love the location as it has a country feel. I had looked at many over 55 communities. I felt like this was the best for me. Is that everything I wanted including very secure property.

We moved into the Album Benbrook in October of 2023. Since our move-in date, we have met so many wonderful residents. The staff here is exceptiona! The maintenance guys are so friendly and punctual when a work request is submitted. I am really impressed with the upkeep of the facility and the grounds. My husband and I are very happy here. We hope this will be our forever home!

Prior issues such as smoking, cleanliness and amount of food at mix and mingle have improved. Security door by the dog park continues to be an issue as it does not always lock unless you pull it closed or the wind shuts it.

People are very friendly and the staff is great! Parking situation could be better - If the community was at any higher residence percentage, it doesn’t seem that their would be enough parking for residents - much less any guests.

With the exception of the plumbing, my apartment is perfect. Flat bottom sinks and shower stall requires WAY too much water to rinse sinks. Bathroom spout is so short, washing hands requires bumping into sink.

This is my 2nd review of Albym Benbrook. Living here is pur joy. There are social opportunities, but it is up to you. You can be social or solitary. The move here is one of if not the best decision I have made. Enjoy yourself living here. Mariann

I really appreciate our awesome staff. Our community is clean, friendly and inviting. I do not appreciate corporates greediness for parking fees. The free parking behind the gated area is too limited & the fees for covered are ridiculous! One of the reasons I moved here was the gate but wish I had known all the facts.

We've lived here since Nov 2021. The first two years led to a deterioration of the facilities and activities to the point where we were considering moving. When the new staff came on, it was a totally different story, they provided all that we as residents expected in the first two years. Because of the change the community is almost full because residents are telling their friends. I hope you continue with this quality staff.

I just signed my 3rd year lease high. I’ve met a lot of nice people here and have met a lot of friends. I am very pleased with the staff Mercedes has taken over and she has done a wonderful job along with her staff. They do a very nice job for us. Mercedes is the best manager she cares about the people and that’s very important and senior citizen community

I had surgery 2 weeks before in. I walked te halls with my walker. Everyone I met were friendly. I love that residents with dogs are ready to stop, talk and allow me to get my puppy fix.

Album Benbrook is a much better place to live now that we have new management. Maircadez has done an amazing job to rectify the problems we were having. She also puts in a lot effort to hear our concerns. She has taken action to make our community a nicer place to live. She always says goodbye to each group of residents in the clubhouse before she leaves, and she never shows annoyance to us as we ask questions of her as she's trying to leave. She stays over her time most everyday, but always answers our concerns if we have them. ❤️

Enjoy the low maintenance of living. All repairs are made in a timely manner and well done. The staff is always available and ready to help you with your needs. I feel safe and Worry, free. I would recommend Album to friends that want maintenance and safety. I’ve been here two years and have enjoyed my spacious unit. Also have a nice back patio and enclosure. Everyone is friendly. We have lots of parking for guest. I have covered parking. There are also garages available. Our entrance has handicap access. I use the gym, treadmill and bicycle.

Management is engaged with residents & meeting are productive & informative. Like the variety of activities & the openness to suggestions. Would appreciate removing the dead tree in courtyard of bldg 1. Watering plants on balconies above me keeps my patio gravel wet.

I feel at this time, it would be inappropriate to express my views. With Beverely leaving April 23, 2024 and the office staff being replaced many times, as a resident going on year 3, the office is no help at all. I would certainly be gone if I had not been taking care of my elderly Mother, in another state. I did not have time to find a place. I’m going on the 3 rd month trying to fix my lease so I can sign it. The office will not answer or return calls, most emails go to a generic email address so the go unread. Management is not here for residents! (Management, in a personal meeting, told me about the generic email address that they never read). I love my apartment, it’s new & lovely but walk outside my door and there is nothing to be happy about here.
