Bryant Cabrera is the Community Manager and has been with the company for 2.5 years, bringing nearly a decade of industry experience to the role. His professional background spans a wide range of industries, including tourism and hospitality, public relations and marketing, advertising, food and beverage, medical care, and property management, giving him a well-rounded and people-centered leadership approach.

Bryant's interest in joining the active adult platform is rooted in helping create long fun-filled lives by keeping seniors active, healthy, and socially engaged. In his role, he focuses on supporting every team member in succeeding within their responsibilities, while fostering an environment where people are inspired to grow, collaborate, and have fun while achieving results. Known for his strong interpersonal skills, Bryant is passionate about developing others through positive, constructive feedback, building trust, and maintaining a high-morale workplace where learning flows both ways.

Originally from Hawaii, Bryant enjoys staying active and connected outside of work. He loves karaoke, hosting get-togethers and barbecues, game nights, traveling, reading, pickleball, tennis, and lifting weights. He also has a few fun talents—including the ability to out-whistle almost any tune, fluency in American Sign Language, a love for surfing and outdoor running, and he is currently learning Spanish. His favorite way to unwind is enjoying a glass of wine while cooking (even though he admits he rarely cooks), and his go-to meals are kalbi spare ribs or bone-in chicken wings.

A self-described 5 a.m. morning person since 2015, Bryant is a black coffee drinker who appreciates a strong start to the day. His music tastes were shaped by legends like Queen, the Eagles, Michael Jackson, and Earth, Wind & Fire, and he’s a devoted Breaking Bad fan. Motivated by achievement, growth, and striving to be the best, Bryant values a team culture that works hard, plays hard, and feels safe sharing ideas to succeed together—believing that a healthy personal life fuels a healthy work life. His future goals are centered on starting a family and becoming the best dad possible.

Makayla is a Senior Sales Consultant who has been with the company since 2022 and has worked in the property management industry since 2019. With a customer service background dating back to 2017, she has experience in both conventional multifamily and active adult communities. What she loves most about the active adult platform is that it's about so much more than providing a place to live—it's about building meaningful relationships, creating a sense of belonging, and making residents feel like family.

In her role, Makayla is dedicated to helping people find a place they're proud to call home. She enjoys being a trusted resource for residents by answering questions, explaining lease agreements and account charges, and ensuring everyone feels like part of the Album family. Her positive attitude and team-first mindset help create a welcoming environment where both residents and coworkers feel supported.

Outside of work, Makayla enjoys reading, cooking, making sourdough, creating art projects, camping, fishing, hiking, and relaxing with a glass of wine and a great romance novel or TV show. She believes that good food should always be well seasoned and enjoys trying just about any cuisine. A self-proclaimed night owl, Makayla has an exciting personal goal in the works as she's currently writing her own cookbook. If she could travel anywhere, she'd simply choose somewhere beautiful to explore and enjoy.

Makayla believes the best teams are those that support one another and work toward a common goal. She takes pride in the positive impact she leaves on the people and communities she serves and finds the greatest reward in knowing she has made a difference in someone's day. While she doesn't seek recognition, her dedication, compassion, and genuine care for others are evident in everything she does.

Angie Houpo is a Sales Consultant who joined the team two months ago and brings a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with over 15 years in the hotel industry and three years at the DMV. Although new to the active adult industry, Angie is passionate about the platform because of the meaningful impact it has on improving residents’ quality of life. In her role, she enjoys helping prospective residents tour the community, understand their options, and select the home that best fits their needs.

Originally from Maui, Hawaii, Angie is known for her positive energy, organization, and welcoming presence. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family, exploring new foods and places, dancing, and creating traditional leis. Her favorite way to unwind is by listening to music and dancing, and she especially enjoys Filipino and Japanese cuisine. A proud morning person, Angie starts her day with coffee and enjoys listening to ’90s R&B.

One fun fact about Angie is that she has completed two Spartan races, a testament to her determination and adaptability—something she is personally proud of. Motivated by making a difference in people’s lives, Angie values a team environment where responsibilities are clear and communication is strong. Residents can expect a warm experience when working with her, as she believes that no matter how challenging the day may be, she will always greet them with a big smile.

Taylan Claro is the community’s Lifestyle Coordinator, newly joining both the company and the industry with fresh energy and creativity. She is passionate about inspiring an active lifestyle that keeps bodies moving, minds engaged, and spirits energized. In her role, Taylan creates engaging and meaningful experiences that bring residents together by planning fun events while also empowering neighbors to share their own passions by leading activities and building connections throughout the community.

Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, Taylan enjoys spending her time outside of work with family, watching shows, and traveling. She has a passion for singing and music composition, and her favorite way to relax is visiting the spa and listening to music. A proud morning person, Taylan prefers tea to start her day and enjoys R&B music along with the TV show Schitt’s Creek. One fun fact about her is that she’s double-jointed! If she could travel anywhere in the world, Italy is at the top of her list, and when it comes to favorite foods, potatoes are always a win.

Taylan is motivated by unity and believes the best teams are built on open communication, kindness, and genuine friendliness. She enjoys collaborating with residents to turn their ideas into memorable events that enrich community life and takes pride in the variety of experiences that have prepared her for this role. Her positive attitude and team-first mindset help create a welcoming environment where both residents and teammates feel connected and supported. When it comes to showing appreciation, a thoughtful meal or small gift is always a meaningful way to make her day.

Jason Fanene is the Service Supervisor and has been with the company for two years, bringing over 12 years of industry experience to the team. Jason is driven by a strong commitment to creating a comfortable, maintenance-free living environment for residents. He takes pride in managing and coordinating vendors and projects that enhance the community and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Originally from Hilo, Hawaii, Jason is known for his reliability, accountability, and leadership. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with his family. When it’s time to relax, Jason’s ideal evening includes sitting by a fire pit next to the pool with a neat bourbon and a cigar. His favorite food is a nostalgic nod to home—poi—and he starts every day strong with coffee, as a lifelong morning person.

Jason enjoys all types of music depending on the moment and values a team environment filled with laughter and shared success. What motivates him most at work is doing a great job for his team, and he takes immense pride in being a girl-dad, with his kids truly being his greatest joy. Jason is dedicated to supporting both residents and teammates alike.

Jason "Jay" is a Service Technician who has been with the company for two years and brings four years of property management experience to the team, along with 13 years as a professional painter. Jay enjoys solving problems and keeping the community running smoothly, often joking that his job is simple: "I fix stuff and I know stuff." His favorite part of the job is helping residents and building relationships with the people he meets every day.

Originally from Lancaster, California, Jay enjoys staying active outside of work. Whether he's swimming, working out at the gym, or spending quality time with his son, family is at the center of his life. When it's time to unwind, you'll likely find him catching a movie after a workout. His go-to meal is In-N-Out, he fuels his day with iced coffee, and enjoys listening to oldies music. If he could travel anywhere, the Bahamas would be his dream destination.

Jay brings perseverance, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic to the team each day. He believes the best work environment is one where everyone works together, stays organized, and supports one another. Professionally and personally, he is most proud of his work ethic and the life he's built with his family. While he appreciates receiving recognition through kind words or positive reviews, what matters most to him is making a difference. Residents can always count on Jay's friendly attitude—he wants everyone to know that he's happy to be here and always ready to lend a helping hand.
